If only I had enough time…
Alright so… I don’t internet access at home except for through my phone. Which I guess you could say is classified as a mobile device. So theres very few sites that look right. Google does have a mobile version that you can use to convert websites you wanna vist into mobile….at least in thoery anyway. It does work most of the time but you have to scoll down then hit the next page link over and over four or five times just to read one page. So it’s a pain but better then nothing. Although, myspace, cnn, facebook (which I do not use), wikipedia all have mobile versions.
I haven’t been able to login through my phone though because the browser is really light weight so it can’t handle alot of sites where alot of data is input and if the page has flash then don’t even try it. For whatever reason I can’t login through my phones browser at all. But today I’m at an old friends house so I managed to grab a minute or two to login and find out what’s going on.
I can read peoples pages and I may be able to comment, although I’m not for sure. I can read comments though so comment away folks. Anybody still coming here? Hell are there any JL bloggers left? It almost looks like JL is frozen in time. What’s going on? Whats the skinny?
My habit did get pretty bad for awhile…alright..real bad. But I’ve been at a methadone clinic now for about three and ahalf or four months. It has been a huge help…like a boot has been lifted from my neck. For two months or so before i started at the clinic I had a 150 to 200 dollar a day habit. There was really no way I could afford to keep up that pace without A: Robbing a bank… B: Being a stripper….or C: Being a escort. And since theres no way in hell I could really do the latter two (even if there were places here that had men doing it - which there is not) and I really would not like to go to prison…the pink fuzzy hand-cuffs were my last option.
Of course it has helped alot…in fact it has pretty much changed my life for the better so I don’t regret it at all. There are plenty of people who miss getting the rush everyday (I do too sometimes) but in the long run I think this is for the best.
Oh..I found this awesome site if you need a good site for mobile devices.
It’s pretty badass. It lists alot of sites that work with mobile devices. So check it out if you need it. Also.. www.nasadad.org is also a pretty useful site too. Or at least I thought so, although it’s not a mobile friendly site.
Does anybody know any kickass mobile friendly sites? If you know of any good mobile-ish then let me know by leaving a comment if you’d be so kind.
Passion play is still in prison. I write her, although I don’t write her as much as I should now. I miss her alot although I know things are going to be vastly different once she gets out, so I’ve almost accepted the fact that the chances of us being together once she gets out is going to be pretty small.
Also I can’t really check my main email from my phone. I use a old Juno address as my main email. It’s an old address from way back when I had to use Juno’s free internet service once upon a time after my AOL account was turned off from not-payment. Although i later got cable (yeah Cox I haven’t forgotten about you, you lying scumbags. Boycott Cox cable!), I kept my juno email account since thats where everybody sent me my mail. Although I can check email on yahoo (which is very mobile friendly). Also I can talk on yahoo messager also.
